Classical music is changing.
The gatekeepers haven't.

For a century, concert booking meant navigating a small number of powerful agencies — ones that represented established stars and had little appetite for early-career or independent artists, no matter how exceptional.

Conservatory graduates and mid-career soloists were left to cold-email promoters, manage their own logistics, and build careers without the professional infrastructure that the top tier takes for granted.

Cadenza was founded to change that. We provide professional-grade booking — real outreach, real negotiation, real hall relationships — to independent classical musicians who deserve representation but couldn't access it.

The Cadenza Promise

Professional booking,
built around your career.

Cadenza is not an agency. We are a specialist booking service that works exclusively with independent classical musicians — on terms that align our success with yours.

01

You apply. We listen.

Send us your biography, recordings, and performance history. Our booking team reviews every application personally — no automated filters, no minimum follower counts. We're looking for exceptional musicians, whatever stage of career.

What we assess: Repertoire depth, recording quality, concert history, target venues and regions.

02

We build your booking strategy.

If we take you on, we craft a tailored outreach plan: which halls, which series, which festivals align with your repertoire and career stage. We draw on relationships across Europe and North America built over years of specialist booking.

Venues we work with: Carnegie Weill Hall, Wigmore Hall, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Konzerthaus Berlin, and 120+ regional partners.

03

We negotiate and confirm.

Cadenza handles every conversation with presenters — from initial pitch to contract terms, rider negotiations, and logistics coordination. You focus entirely on preparing to perform. We handle the administrative weight.

Standard engagement: 60–90 day booking lead time; full logistics support included.

04

You perform. We take our commission.

Our fee is a percentage of your performance fee, paid after the concert takes place. If you don't perform, you don't owe us anything. This is not a management retainer — it is a booking partnership built on shared success.

Commission structure: transparent, agreed at intake. No hidden fees, no upfront costs.

What musicians say
about working with us.

"Before Cadenza, I had no idea how to approach European concert halls. Within eight months they had me booked at three Wigmore lunchtime concerts and a summer festival in Austria."

Anna K.

Violinist, conservatory graduate, Berlin

01

"I'd been sending emails for two years with no response. Cadenza got me my first professional fee within their first month of outreach. The commission-only model felt like they genuinely believed in me."

James T.

Pianist, North America

02

"What I valued most was that they treated me as a professional from day one. Real negotiations, real contracts, real fees. Not a 'showcase' or a pay-to-play scheme."

Marie-Claire D.

Cellist, Paris conservatoire alumna

Common Questions

Who qualifies to apply?

Independent classical soloists, chamber ensembles (duos through septets), and early-career artists based in Europe or North America. We work with all instruments and voice types. Formal agency representation is not required — in fact, most of our artists have none.

What does commission-only mean exactly?

Cadenza charges a percentage of your performance fee, agreed transparently at intake. We only invoice after the concert has taken place and you have been paid. There are no monthly retainers, no registration fees, and no upfront charges of any kind.

How long does the booking process take?

We review applications within five business days. If we take you on, the booking timeline varies by venue and season — chamber hall bookings typically run 3–6 months in advance, festival engagements 6–18 months. We give you realistic timelines from the start.

Do you work with musicians outside Europe and North America?

Our current venue network is concentrated in Europe (UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Spain) and North America (US, Canada). We are selectively expanding to Australia and Japan. Contact us — we consider each case individually.
